Fire Risk Assesment – Precautions To Prevent A Fire

It is therefore required of a man to be prepared at all times. Fire Risk Assessment is a technoque through which rthe chances of a fire incident happening are significantly lowered. The salient features include :
? The ‘hazards’ in an area must be identified.
? Properly finding out the vulnerable targets.
? Identify risks and ways to eliminate them.
? Spread awareness in people about the imporatance of fire safety.
? Keeping vicinity ‘fire safety’ equipments.
Also sould be identified in a closed environment is the way the place is wired up.Most accidents are usually started due a short-circuit and nowadays more and more cases are being reported where electrical reasons are the main causes cited for the fire being started in the first place.
In closed areas, it should be kept in mind that there should be proper exits in case of emergency conditions. Open areaa are a ust to prevent suffocation due to smoke. The rooms should be fitted with ‘extinguishers’ and care shold be taken that each and every employee is sesitized on the proper way to use these equipments. Materials which have a tendency to catch fire should be stored properly.
